Terms of Service

By accessing or using Pali ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operator of Pali (see Section 2).

These Terms form an agreement between you and RLGrowth OÜ, an Estonian private limited company (osaühing), which operates and provides Pali.

Pali is operated by RLGrowth OÜ, registry code 17607918, registered office at Tartu mnt 67/1-13b, 10115 Tallinn, Estonia.

Before 25 September 2026, Pali was operated by RLGrowth, a Dutch sole proprietorship. From that date, RLGrowth OÜ is the operator of Pali and your contracting party.

Pali is an educational coaching and skill-building application based on relationship psychology research. Pali is NOT:

• A substitute for professional therapy, counselling, or psychiatric care
• A medical device or medical treatment
• A crisis intervention service
• A diagnostic tool for any medical or psychological condition

The AI-powered features provide educational guidance based on psychology research. Pali is an AI coach, not a licensed therapist. Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and should not be relied upon as professional advice. You can report any AI-generated response using the "Report" button within the chat interface.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Pali. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

Pali's content, including modules on intimate wellbeing, emotional regulation, and conflict skills, is educational in nature. Content related to sexual wellbeing provides evidence-informed skills and education about common concerns. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

If you experience significant emotional distress, thoughts of self-harm, relationship abuse, or persistent physical or psychological concerns, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or crisis service immediately.

Pali's conflict resolution, communication, and relationship tools are designed for use in relationships where both parties feel physically and emotionally safe. If you are in a relationship involving coercion, intimidation, or violence, some features may not be appropriate. Please reach out for support:

You retain ownership of all content you create within Pali (journal entries, reflections, chat messages). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process this content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our services. We will not use your content for AI training without your explicit consent.

All other content in the App, including course material, lesson text, design, and trademarks, is owned by or licensed to RLGrowth OÜ and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

You may delete your account at any time via Profile settings. Upon deletion, all your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pali is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• All content, including AI-generated responses, is for educational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice of any kind (therapeutic, medical, legal, or otherwise)
• You are solely responsible for all decisions you make and actions you take based on information obtained through the App
• RLGrowth OÜ shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App
• This includes, without limitation, any harm, injury, relationship outcomes, emotional distress, or other consequences resulting from applying any skill, technique, or suggestion encountered in the App
• The App does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, or any other professional-client relationship
• AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation. Always exercise independent judgement

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Note for EU consumers: Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under EU consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Digital Content Directive (2019/770/EU). Mandatory consumer protections under the law of your country of habitual residence apply regardless of the above limitations.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RLGrowth OÜ from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, including special category data under GDPR Article 9. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. If you are a consumer habitually resident in the EU/EEA, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of habitual residence, and mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules always apply. For all other disputes, the competent courts of Estonia have jurisdiction, with Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) as the court of first instance where legally applicable.

The English version of these Terms is the governing version. This does not limit any mandatory language or consumer protection rights you have under local law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with any changes, you may delete your account at any time.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
